When my daughter, Marigold(who my business is named after was 6 months old, I started a new hobby of sewing. I got bit hard by the bug! I have made everything under the sun, except quilts(maybe someday…). I was still trying to figure out what direction I wanted to go for my sewing business. I love to create things for people and I love to be conscious of the resources we are using. After we had a close friend of the family, pass away unexpectedly, it came to me. I wanted to make memory and keepsake items for people for all occasions. It can be from clothing from someone we lost too soon, or your kids favorite baby clothes or your favorite shirt that you no longer wear. This is a great way to create a lasting memory that you can look at every day and not have tucked away in your closest or drawer.
